Does the app include channels or content?
No. The Duo Smart TV App is a media player only. DuoSmart does not provide, sell or host any channels, movies or series. You add the playlist you get from your own provider.
Which playlist formats are supported?
Xtream Codes (server, username and password), an M3U link, an M3U file you upload, and Stalker portals. You can keep several playlists on one device. On the Duo Smart Box Pro, playlists are Stalker portals (MAC based).
How does the free trial work?
Every device gets 7 days free with all features. No account and no payment details are needed. After the trial you choose €5 for one year or €15 for life, per device.
Do I need an account?
No. Each device shows its own MAC address and device key — that is all you need to add playlists on this website. We only ask for an email address when you pay, for your receipt and to move your licence later.
What is the free lifetime licence that comes with a box?
Every Duo Smart Box includes an activation code: one lifetime licence (worth €15) for another device, such as a Samsung or LG TV, iPhone, iPad, Mac or Android. Enter the code in the app on that device and it offers to take over the server details from your box.
Can I move my licence to another device?
Yes. A licence is for one device at a time, and you can move it to a new device whenever you like — for example when you buy a new TV.
On which devices can I use the app?
The app is coming soon to Samsung Smart TV (first), LG Smart TV, Android TV, iPhone and iPad, Mac and Android phones and tablets. It is already pre-installed on every Duo Smart Box.
What is the difference between Pro and Ultra?
Both play 4K Ultra HD with H.265 HEVC and come with the app pre-installed and free for life. The Pro runs Linux and uses Stalker portals. The Ultra runs Android, supports every playlist format and can run other Android apps too.
